Sumatra  Tiger (and other Felid) Ecology,  2006--2012  and  2013--20018

Sumatra Tiger Project Part 1

Use of remotely triggered cameras and sign surveys to estimate wild felid occupancy and tiger density across various protected areas of Riau Province, Central Sumatra. Investigate spatial and temporal overlap between felid species pairs to better understand predator ecology.

Sumatra Tiger Project Part 2

Use of remote cameras, scat sampling, GPS collars, and satellite imagery to investigate habitat loss, impacts of roads on forests, habitat connectivity for tigers across the mosaic landscape, and genetic connectivity. Assess predator-prey distribution across and increasingly human-impacted area.
